Seaworld says that they will soon just show killer whales in a more natural setting--no more parlor tricks, I guess. Good idea--should also help with what to do with all those starving seal pups that wash up in California! PETA should love this idea, right?

I will follow their animal loving lead and free all the occupants of my Ant Farm.

There was a short episode on Ridiculousness last night. A mother and her young daughter were holding a baby rabbit in their hands. The mother was telling the daughter how they were releasing the baby bunny so it could go back to its mommy. They put it down in the grass in their front yard, and the baby bunny took off for the flower bed. It made it about halfway when a hawk swooped down and flew-off with lunch. The mommy and the little girl were bawling and squalling while the camera panned off into the distant sky.

Nature is a zero-sum game. For every winner, there is a loser.

Many years ago I was at the Safeway meat counter behind this woman who wasing the butcher for a special cut of meat. He said he did not have one ready but if would wait he would go take it off a side. A side of what she asks.Beef of course. She went ballistic,was going to call PETA,SPCA,ad nauseum.He + I just looked at each other;being an employee he could not laugh,just turned + went into the back.Not being an employee I laughed long,loud,+ hard.
