Winchester has announced a new .17 rimfire cartridge based on their power nail gun cartridges... By all accounts, it is a "tack driving" round that hits "like a hammer". On a related note, Winchester has announced a full media campaign for the new cartridge beginning with a new movie adaptation featuring Stephen Hunter's "Bob the Nailer" character.
