Nope, there has been a problem that many people have noticed here, and he is trying to fix it without having to delete the entire political forum database.



Good conspiracy theory though, too bad I hadn't thought of it! <G>

I just saw this post.



If someone can explain to me how I slowed down the website for the past 10 days just so I could scuttle the political forum let me know.



In fact, I put the political forum back on this afternoon and the board immediately slowed from .05 seconds to over 3 minutes. That was documented in the misc. section not by me but by Digital Dan.



If you think the purpose of AR is to discuss Bush or Kerry then I'm sorry. 99% of the bandwidth used on our site is reloading and hunting. THe humor and political stuff is here for your enjoyment but hardly the purpose of the hours I just spent keeping this going.

With all DRG's negative Bush bashing of late it was something I thought of too. Especially since he stated it was the boards "most conservative" poster who he suspects as causing the problem. Of course we'll never know who that person is because DRG will never tell for legal reasons or some such BS.
