My dad was the head of maintenace for the local school system for about 30 years. Every time some vandal broke out a door window, he would replace it with Lexan, this actually happened one night at one of the schools. The police called him about one in the morning saying they had picked up a kid with a nasty gash in his forehead, from a full can of beer he had tried to throw through a door window. Sad thing is,if you tried that nowadays, you probably get sued.
