Thanks! On a kinda more serious note, when seeing the tax figures it reminded me of a thought I had many years ago. You know about the Great American Smoke-Out Day when everyone who is a smoker was to quit for one day? Well, I started doing the math. As I said this was several years ago when cigarettes were $2.00 a pack (been awhile). Anyway, the radio said that 52 million people in the US smoked. Now just for the ease of math let us say that each smoker smoked 1 pack a day (I know some smoke more + some less but it equals out). Now that is 52 million x $2.00 x 365 (smokers don't quit for holidays). O.K., I admit that R.J. Reynolds is making a killing (literally) but at that time the fed was getting 18 cents on the dollar in taxes. Strickly on cigarettes. So why are we in the red? That is only a tobacco tax. Just a thought.

There I was traveling through the mountains of Paraguay when I came upon a tribe of the Yaqui Indians drinking the juice of the cacti. They looked like a rough lot + possibly giving me trouble. I was armed only with a
Bowie knife + carryi9ng a canoe + and a rocky mountain goat on a tether. When I saw that these Indians had ill intentions, I pulled my Bowie knife _ carved a path through that wall of human flesh while dragging my canoe behind me. As to the rocky mountsain goat; he was very good with mustard. Now you have had your night time story;go to bed.

That kinda recalled a memory from something I read in the past that one night when Al Jolson was on stage some heckler called out, "Tell us all you know Al, it won't take long." + Al quipped right back "I'll tell em all we both know + it won't take any longer." He ended up hiring the guy as an extra for his show. Added entertainment.
