My son had a pet hamster that pretty much bit everyone. So much so that even now when I see a movie where a person is handling a hamster I inwardly cringe. The main benefit he brought to the family was he had one of those hamster balls that he was put in pretty much daily, and it was pretty funny seeing that ball rolling around the house avoiding obstacles like a little cruise missile.

For a while we had a hamster rolling around the house in one of those plastic balls. It was a challenge to keep the little one from kicking it like a soccer ball.

Mean little bastard.
