I've heard of Ennis, Monatana. I kept thinking my hunting buddy was saying something else when he talked about hunting near Ennis.

If you take the town of Danville and rearrange the letters it becomes Evil Land.

When I was stationed in Texas back in the '60s, a guy in our barracks was from Coon Pecker Point, Kentucky. When asked where it was, he say it was just down the ridge a ways from Squat n Holler. His favorite drink was Aqua Velva after shave.
