Lab Rats vs. Lawyers
A large research facility is seriously considering switching from lab rats to lawyers for further research projects. The reasons are:

1) Lawyers are more common than rats.

2) Lab personnel have a tendency to befriend rats, that won't happen with lawyers.

3) There are some things that rats simply will not do.

The joke came from a friend, Liberal, Democrat, former county prosecutor, lawyer, and currently a judge. But despite these faults, he is a smart, honest, and exemplary human being.
