just a note.

everyone knows that
"if anything can go wrong, it will"
as murphys law...
well being true to murphy this is acually wrong.
Murphy's law is acually
"If there are two or more ways to do something, and one of those ways can result in a catastrophe, then someone will do it."

the law we all think of as murphy's law is acually Finagle's law. or Finagle's Law of Dynamic Negatives

the true murphy's law was created during the rocket sled testing by the airforce. apparently when hooking up a G-force mesuring device to the person riding the sled there were two ways to wire the sensors... all the sensors were wired backwards.

Capt. Murphy himself was not liked by the others on the sled team so they "honored" him with that law after he said it. later the media heard the team mention the laws in conversation and then misprinted it.. that is how we get the "current" version.

there was a story somewhere that was about a man tracking down the origins of the law and tried to find murphy but I dont think he wanted an interview. I forget the name of the story and cant find a link.
