BriceWatch you language
It was north Africa in 1944. The Brits were taking a terrible drubbing. A lieutenant watched an infantryman get hit with several machine gun bullets, some of which got him in the guts. He cradled the man in his arms and tried to comfort him. The wounded man said "I'm done for".
"For god's sake man, don't end a sentence with a preposition" was the lieutenant's response.
