Nitro ExpressIn the U.S., Chapter 11 is one of the forms of bankruptcy. Others include Chapter 7 and 13.
They are merely different provivions or "chapters" in the bankruptcy codes.
Instead of a person saying he filing for bankruptcy, he might say, "I'm filing a Chapter Eleven."
