Chapter eleven is a bankruptcy filing

In the U.S., Chapter 11 is one of the forms of bankruptcy. Others include Chapter 7 and 13.

They are merely different provivions or "chapters" in the bankruptcy codes.

Instead of a person saying he filing for bankruptcy, he might say, "I'm filing a Chapter Eleven."

Now I know where I went astray. I flipped it open and the line was " and David went up on his roof one evening and saw women bathing, and he was aroused; and sent for them...".
