Grizzly AdamsThis like the old story, if the rope broke, you must be unjustly convicted and got a pardon ?

NormanConquestTrue by the old English standards that if the rope broke,it was an act of God proving the man was innocent. There was a case in the cape colony in the mid 1800's where 4 Boers were arrested + condemned to hang by the Brits. 1 man hung, the other 3 ropes broke. The British officer hung them anyway which started a great rift between the Boers + Brits.
