The Train Trip
A man and a woman who had never met before, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping compartment on a transcontinental train trip.

Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, the two were tired and quickly fell asleep, he in the upper bunk and she in the lower.

At about 2:00AM, he leaned over his berth and woke the woman, saying "Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you reach into the closet and get me a blanket? I'm awfully cold."

She answered "I have a better idea, just for tonight, let's pretend we're married."

"Wow!" he exclaimed excitedly, "that's a great idea!"

"Good." she replied, "Get your own damn blanket."
