Inexpensive christmas
My family was in the lower part of the middle class and when I went away to college for my freshman year I paid most of my way with money that I had earned in the oil fields of West Texas. Just before Christmas I called home to talk to my parents and my mom wouldn't let me hang up until I told her what I wanted for Christmas. Racking my brain for something useful I said I'd like a pair of Levi's. She kept on saying that a pair of jeans alone was not much of a Christmas so, I told her to just get me something to play with, you know something for entertainment. Well Christmas morning comes around and I see a present under the tree and opening it I find a brand new pair of Levi's with the front pockets cut out. Smiler
