FordfreakHey #5 is a trick question, my cell phone has all the letters on the dial pad!!!

I managed to get 15 correct, thats over twice the national average

TrapdoorI got a 23, but some of those questions had no business being there! "Is New York on the top or bottom of the license plate?" Come on, how's someone who never sees a NY licence plate going to get that one?!
Then that darn playng card one.....that's a stretch for simple observation. Maybe I just need to play more poker!

tasco 74 i got 19 right it is hard to believe the national ave is 7 and derf is right too if your not american you'd be lost.....
THE THE SECOND AMENDMENT PROTECTS US ALL..........

OldFart19. I have heard that water will drain in one direction in the northern hemisphere and the other direction in the southern hemisphere. I have never checked this out myself as I spend all my time looking at dimes (not dollars), New York license plates, and watching snow white.
29 December 2003, 16:36
Taurus BillI got 23, (I live in NY). Not only does water reverse direction below the equater, The further from the equater you are, the faster it spins. I've been as far north as Thule, Greenland and all the way south until I was going north again. I'll be heading south on the 7th, I'll try to get a video of it.

TRIGGERHAP2Well Taurus Bill,
I'll be looking forward to your observations, and photos, just lay off the baileys when you're observing.
Oh, and make sure you use a sink, or a good seal blow hole, because it's been my experience that a toilet's water flow will rotate whichever way the jets were built in to flow.

Taurus BillI've just passed through New Zealand and indeed, the water went clockwise. Trigger, the jets in a toilet do determine the direction, however this discussion is for a standard gravity drain. I am now in Antarctica, approximately 78 degrees south. I'm still looking for someone with a camera so I can post a video. Stay tuned.....

pete152We are back,my wife ,daughter and I just saw it( the water that is) go clockwise. Hope that helps.
The wife wants to know what we are hunting for?

R-WEST am now in Antarctica, approximately 78 degrees south Hey TB - WHOAAA!! What are you doing there? Hunting seals (is there anything shootable down there?)?
R-WEST
PS - Hey cwilson; sounds like we need a detailed engineering study of the phenomena!!

15 January 2004, 13:59
Taurus BillThere's plenty to shoot at here, but the Antarctic treaty implicitly forbids both interacting with the wildlife andfirearms of any kind. We're working on permission for air rifles for training purposes, but so far the ignorant tree hugging liberals in charge can't be convinced that there's a difference.
Penguins running along 200 to 300 yards would be a lot like pdogs except without the holes for them to hide in. Seals are huge and just lay around, no challenge in shooting them. Skuas, like a seagull on steroids would be fun with a 10ga and BBBs. There's not a lot of them, but if you put out a little bait, all and I do mean ALL of them for 50 miles will show up with in half a day.
I got a camera located that takes short clips, I should have something for you all in a day or two.
The suspense is killing me.......
