Yeah, my ex always called her "Snivel Streep" because in every role she played, somewhere in there she sniveled.

Under the heading of Inquiring minds want to know that Meryl 's live-in boyfriend/ lover was Fredo from the Godfather until he passed. Nothing wrong with that just interesting.

Unfortunately the bits of humor, funny though they are, in the introduction are overshadowing the speech that followed. That speech is worth some serious thought.

I never heard the speech. Anything earthshattering that we should know? Seriously.

Just google Mattis Speech....it's easy to find and well worth the effort. He does a few minutes of somewhat humorous comments then gets into the serious stuff.
