On the line about famous quotations, I'm brought to mind of the animosity between Gladstone + Disraeli. When speaking in the House Of Commons, Gladstone said, "You sir will either be murdered or die of syphilis" To which Disraeli quipped, That sir will depend on whether I embrace your principles or your mistress."
