HeeHawDuh !!!
What type of light bulb ?
There are thousand of different light bulbs ?
Save the burned out ones for your dark room.
Do you need a permit to perform the task ?
Do you need special tools ?
Do you need a uniforum ?
Do you change the bulb before, during or after sex ?
Your right Mike the simplest task can turn into a major none productive debate.

8MM OR MOREOK, as long as you acknowledge that at least half that number could in reality be a single poster with multiple logons!! One of those right brain/left brain things wherein he must argue with his inner self!!

derfBut what if the bulb didn't want to change? Is it right to force change upon it??

NashcatIs that a Match lightbulb, or a Game lightbulb? I have been using Match lightbulbs on game for some time with good results, but have been told by some that they are not designed for game and will blow up on occasion, giving poor results.

Pecos41Except I think we left out:
1 French poster to tell us French light bulbs are better.
1 German poster to tell us he hates American light bulbs.
1 Arab poster to tell us the whole light bulb industry is controlled by GWB and if it weren't for GWB, none of us would ever have to change a bulb again.
The truth is what hurts! Good post.

OK, Pecos. American light bulbs suck.

BirmanI have a heat lamp above my bed
![[Smile]](images/icons/smile.gif)
. I was wondering that because it is called a heat lamp does that mean you never have to change the Light apparatus ( bulb )
![[Confused]](images/icons/confused.gif)
? This is a most confusing and intellectually challenging post

8MM OR MOREWell, one thing is true, when the 8/9 thousand members get thru, the darn light will truly and completely have been changed! Of course, the socket will be loose, and have to be reamed out to the next larger size, in all likelyhood. Heck, might as well rebarrel it!!
16 August 2003, 04:33
jffrybrghtYeah, but if you went to a "custom" bulb maker, it would cost more, be more valuable and would require a 3 month wait....only to find out you were sent a 40 watt, when in fact you ordered a 30 watt instead. Imagine that!
19 August 2003, 11:12
<El Viejo>Well for starters, we don't change light bulbs, we reload light sockets.
Also, shouldn't this question be on the reloading thread?

NitroXWhat's all this "bulb" business. A bulb is something you plant in the ground.
Light globe in the English speaking world, please.

Old & SlowI know all the manuals say 120 volts is the maximum but I have put 135 and even 142.5 volts through them without any "too hot" signs and it still isn't hard to unscrew from the socket. And boy does it really put out the light.
Me too on the Leupold makes the best bulbs.

derfPersonally I only save and use the old style porcelan sockets. I find the new plastic ones to be difficult to work and of inferior quality! derf
