Thanks,
I use a mould I bought from Do-it.com
They have moulds for almost any shape of jig you can think off.
I enjoy making them and catching fish with them.
I cant remember when was the last time I put a soft plastic on a jig to fish with....

Paul HI've never tried fishing bucktails. I mostly use butterfly style jigs, crippled herring style or lead heads.

Gerhard.DelportI have not tried the butterfly jig before but will be giving them a test in Angola as soon as I get my gear there.

Paul HI had 3 of the 400gr blue sardine jigs last year. It worked very well, but unfortunately I managed to hang up and loose them all on the rocks

I need to order some more for this season.

Paul HSo far the tld-20's have worked well. I have one single speed, and two 2 speed's. I'd wanted to get avet reels, but due to budget constraints went with the shimano's. I imagine for the amount of use I'll put in the shimanos they'll hold up fine.

Think I am going to have a lot of fun jigging here in Angola
