DORADO

I caught this Dorado last week in Esquina, Argentina on the Parana river. The river was in flood and there were a lot of bushes etc. that were floating around.

I was with Dr. Juan Pozzi. The fish was about 10 kilo or 22 lb. They really fight and jump clear of the water several times during the fight.

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

I will say one thing for my guide Juan -- He had a bottle of champagne ready for the celebration right in the boat. I have never seen that before!
