butchlocsplit bamboo fly rod
i have an old heddon 9' split bamboo fly rof with 2 tips that my dad bought in the mid 30's. i doubt that it's been used over a time or 2. it has a cloth case and a cardboard tube that it all fits in. anybody know if it has a collector value, what is worth or where to sell it???
Butchloc,
Those were quite common rods, sold in hardware stores, etc....
I don't believe they have much collector value like a high end maker would. It probably has more sentimental value to you
Than you would get in monetary return. There are quite a few fly fishing websites you could try to post it on if you still want to sell it.
PM me if I can help you further.

Tim 7139Au contraire.
They're not uncommon, but if it is pristine with varnish that has not gone soft it has collector value at a moderate level.
