PalmerFishing in Costa Rica
Does anyone have any recommendations? I am going down there on the 18th and will have a little time to fish.
Also - does anyone know if you can hunt the crocs there?

ForrestBCrocs are definitely protected. There are no hunting opportunities available that I am aware of.
Will you be on the East or West Coast, or does it not make a difference?
There are lots of fishing opportunities on the West Coast but fewer on the East. I've fished the Rio Colorado and Rio Tortuguero on the North East Coast (Tarpon, snook, etc.) with good results.

PalmerThanks Forrest. That is encouraging. I just signed up with Silver King Lodge on the Rio Colorado where it empties into the Gulf.
They say the snook will be running. I have never fished for them so that may be fun.
Guess I will have to leave my guns at home. Those giant Costa Rican crocs I saw on the discovery channel sure looked like they need shooting though.
