Subject line pretty much says it all.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I will ask the guys at acute angling.

My visa guy in Miami was super negative about traveling to Venezuela.

I doubt many people are catching peacocks on Guri or payara at the Falls for the market but the political situation is so bad, along with crimes, that I will almost certainly not be going to Venezuela, espcially if I have to go via Caracas. Been there before when times were much better, not good.

Sad to see crappy economic populism/socialism/corruption destroy a rich country.

Especially in light of the fact that Venezuela has the largest oil reserves on earth......more than Saudi Arabia. One more example of failed socialism that will be ignored by the professors teaching at our universities.
