In 1991 a couple of my NCOs and I did a little afternoon fishing off the coast of Bahrain and caught lots of small sharks and some sort of catfish. The local TCNs loved them. I'll see if I can scan a photo...

Another day we did a little water-skiing but seeing the water snakes (very poisonous) put a damper on that fun.

My sons and I have fished off the coast of Oman. Excellent Tuna and Dorado. My youngest son has the family record, 80 kg Yellow Fin plus 10.00 of his bother's allowance.

The pictures are posted on section 3 of this forum "Omani Yellow Fin Tuna".
