Headed up to Mexico, NY this past week with some family and friends for some salmon fishing on the little salmon river. It was my first experience with salmon fishing and had a pretty good time. Booked again for the same week next year, and looking forward to heading back up in February for some steelhead fishing (another first). First fish came in at 16.7lb, second at 18.8.

Now that they have knocked out a lot of the old dams on the rivers along the NE, how has the Atlantic Salmon population fared.
