OldGuyThe "foul hooking" shouldn't be a problem, if his witnesses are credible, as only "intentional" foul hooking disqualifies a fish. However, the lack of measurements probably will disqualify it.
Not too many years ago, there was a big stink about another bass caught in California. Lack of documentation and outcries by many who had doubts about the angler and catch resulted in disqualification of the application for it. I can assure all that the review process for a record application is quite extensive!
If I remember (CRS), I will try to keep an eye on this for y'all.
