Nothing works like Deet!

My wife makes a home made bug repellent using eucalyptus oil/lemon oil from Amazon (2 tsps.) to 2-3 oz. H2O). We put it in a small mister bottle. Best stuff we have found and no long term chemical worries.

That Vicki's Secret scent is about the only thing that will work on the buffalo gnats down here. Not even DEET will stop them and they laugh at the Thermocell.

The guys I worked with swore by Avon Skin So Soft to repel cedar gnats at the facility in southern Utah. Said DEET was not effective.
