and you live in/around Central NY, you should consider a trip to Derby Hill, located on the shores of Lake Ontario near Mexico, NY.
The fall season can be spectacular, but the spring season can be something to see, especially on a day with a strong south wind. Take a look at the daily observations for March 31, 2005.
