Does anyone have the dimensions of the 243 Super Rockchucker based on the 30-06 case ? What difference would there be between it and the 6mm-06 Ackley Imp ? Both would be 240 Wby's with cheaper brass.

I just did a quick internet search and can't find a drawing of it however what I did find out is that it is merely a 25-06 necked down to .243.
Pacific has reamers for it and an A.I. version as well so I'm sure they could furnish you a cartridge drawing.

Snellstrom Thanks for the reply. I have found a couple references that indicate it is not the std 25-06 case but an improved version. I found one reference that claimed it was merely another name for the 6mm-06 Improved. Being a wildcat there may well be several versions ??

the rockchucker was just a 7x57 necked to 6 mm , the super rockchucker was just a 06 necked to 6mm neither was an "improved version"
