fourboreDeer Hunting with modern 222/223/224 cf rifle
By popular request and out of curiosity and boredom: Here is a simple yes/no poll. Forget the exceptions & excuses: handycap, children, my first choice gun broke, poor planning, etc. I am asking about your basic day to day typical hunting by normal human beings for typical size deer from 50 to 200 pounds more or less. Are the current available 22 cf rifles and ammo a reasonable choice for deer hunting. No weasel words. Up or down yes/no vote.Yes, it is reasonable practice to use 22 rifle for deer huntingNo. It is not reasonable to hunt deer with a 22 rifle

Red C.I should have looked at the other threads before I responded to the other poll about .22 caliber rifles for deer, but since I already responded to the other one, I'll go ahead and respond to yours.
I think I like your poll better than the other one, but concerning it being a controversial subject, the same thing I said about the other poll applies to yours, as well.

fourboreRed, I saw you comments on the other poll and I have to admit I am surprised at the results too. Both running about 50/50. Hmmmm.
