Works well with Federal Gold Medal Match, of course. If you're talking about hunting bullets, mine does well with 180-grain Nosler Partitions in both handloads and Federal factory ammo. Also shoots the Remington Core-Lokt 150s quite well.

Just picked up a SS in .308. Would like to do some deer hunting with it. Which factory ammo groups best for yours?

I realize every gun has it's own personality, maybe you scout owners could get me started. Tomorrow I am going to try some Fed.Prem 165 BT, Fed.Prem 150 NBT and some Win. 180 PP.
