I'll go first..............

Mark V Ultra-Lightweight with a Weaver 2-10x38 (decent glass and really keeps the weight down).

Here is mine, sort of.

Broughton 28" 4,1 Magnum Sporter 1-9" 5C chambered in 25-06 AI
Remington printed action
HS Precision stock
Weaver 4.5 X 14 X44 Tactical
Jewell trigger set at a crisp 2.5#

Soon to be swapping stocks to a H-S Precision Pro-Series 2000 M24 A1 Tactical.

Can't find a pic of the standard one I passed along to the daughter. It is a basic factory wearing a nice Fajen laminate. Nothing fancy but probably the most accurate rifle I have ever owned.

Don't know how to do the photo thing just yet, but I have 3 25-06 rifles. The first and my favorite is a Sako 75 in a varmint edition, wood and blued, a 300 yard tack driver when the conditions are right.
My 2nd favorite is an unfired Garcia in a Sako Deluxe mid 70's vintage.
And number 3 is a Tikka Stainless Laminate that so far is super accurate out to 200 meters, haven't tried it any longer just yet. FS

My 25-06 Ruger#1 is my most accurate hunting rifle. I am in the process to build another #1 in 6.5x284 it also has a 26" barrel and a
1-8.5 twist. Never had a 6.5 before hope it proves accurate too.

I just changed the setup of my sako 75 a few days ago....I bought a fantastic S&B Zenith 3-12x50 with flashdot nr. 7. I also put new ”Low” rings instead of “Medium” high rings.

Been a while since I tuned in to this thread.
There have been some mighty fine rifles posted since then, every one of them.
I'm also a fan of excellent components in rifles, and these new postings have some awesome examples... thumb
My 25-05 is a new Weatherby Vanguard, 24" barrel model, with a plain Jane Walnut stock; nothing to write home about. Haven't shot the rifle yet, so I have no range results yet.
I think if I was going "light weight" with a rifle, it would of neceesity be a synthetic stock. If I was going for a beautiful rifle, I'd get real close to the Walnut stocked rifles in this thread, hoping some of the magnificent figure would rub off on my rifle... clap Big Grin
