I need some reloading recipes for the .240 wby mag using a 75 grain bullet. Also any personal notes on this cartridge.

I strongly suggest you buy a reloading manuel published by the folks that make the bullets you will shoot. And follow their loads in all details, i.e. primer, powder, overall lenth of rounds, etc.
Some examples: Hornady 75 gr. HP, IMR 4350, 46.6 - 52.2 grs.
Speer 75 gr. HP:
IMR 4350 (again, but different bullet) 49 grs. - 53 grs.
Barnes: IMR 4350 (again, different bullet) 49.5 grs. - 54.5 grs.
The two things my notes tell me is the cases are very expensive and the ordinary big game bullets don't hold together worth a hoot at the velocities the .240 WM develop. The Nosler Partition was the way to go back when I had one. E

Swampman I agree with the previous comments.My 240 will not shoot anything lighter than the 95 gr Nosler BT. Rl 22 is a very good powder. Check the Nosler manual for the safe starting load.

Curious. I load 55 gr. Btips for a German 240, and she drives tacks with them...... 58 V-maxes, same thing. A gob of 4064, and off they go. Sure do a number on varmints. FWIW, Dutch.
