Gerhard.DelportAnschutz 243 Win Mod 1574
Guys,
I am looking at a 243 Win made by Anshutz.
I have looked at their catalog and the biggest caliber they have now is 223 Rem.
Does anybody have any info about this rifle?
Thanks,
Gerhard

Gerhard.DelportI just had a look at the rifle.
Looks like a great rifle. Just a pity the barrel is pitted with rust.
Not going to spend money and then have to spend money again to rebarrel...

StonecreekI believe that Anschutz built a few rifles back in the 60's or 70's using Sako actions. The only ones I'm aware of were .222's prior to Anschutz designing its own action for that cartridge, but they may have used some Sako actions for .243 also.

6.5BRLearn something everyday! Thought the 222 was the biggest chambering ever. Interesting. Those little Krico's seemed well made.

airgun1My friend has an Anschutz in 22-250 that is a Krico (Tradewinds 600). It is a Krico all the way except Anschutz adapted their triggers to fit them and inlet their rimfire sporter stocks to fit.
