Re: AR-15 with light barrel?
Probably not,,,There's a reason people are sticking with the H-bar profile and fluting to loose some wieght. And at the same time increasing the surface area for better barrel cooling[kinda like radiator fins].I knew these two brothers that had a gun shop,,big into the military scene, knob creek was a bigger holiday than christmas to them, they used to brag and laugh about melting aug barrels with the greatest of ease.Have fun!!!!Clay P.S. Anyone here have experience with an AR-15 with the super light barrel? I have shot a 16" bushmaster,(M-4 carbine with a fixed stock and fluted barrel) and it's super accurate. 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards are common, and 1/2 inch now and then.
Do the super light 16" barrels shoot as well? I was using match ammo with 69 gr Sierra match King bullets when I fired the Bushmaster
