Thomas Jones1st shots Sako Browning .243.
I tried out my sako Browning .243 today,
I found a deer load I think.
It hated the sierra 100 grain Flat base over 37 grs IMR-4064, 2 inches, nor did it like the 90 grain speer over 44 grs RL-19. it was 1.5 witch is better but not good enough.
Then I went to the 85 grain barnes ripple shock. fired by 42 grs H-4350 The first shot from a clean bore was 2 inches from the other 4 but the other 4 gave me .7. Thats a hunting load. I am gonna put a few of thos together and verify.
I have a good feeling about that load. I should give me 3200 more or less, and thats a 300 yard deer slayer.
