f9mountainmanHelp!
Yesterday I was shooting my 22-250 and I think I forgot to put powder in one of my cases. The bullet lodged about three inches down the barrel. I was able to get it out fairly easily. Do you guys think I did any damage to the barrel? I am worried I will be purchasing a new barrel now. What do you think? Thanks a lot.
I doubt if you'll have a problem. It all depends on how rough you were getting the bullet out of the barrel. Shoot it and find out.

I have done it with my .357, primers are amazingly powerful. I punched mine out with a brass rod.
I doubt you damaged thr barrel but groups will tell.
can you see any scratches?
what sort of drift did you use?

schromfShoot first then check it out. If it has a problem get the barrel lapped before replacing it.
