What are the differences between the PSS, the LTR and the VS- barrel lengths, stocks etc? Thanks!!

MLCI have a LTR in 308.
As I understand it all the Remington synthetic stocks are HS Precision. The PSS is a large, matte grey-black target style stock with a broad fore end and 24-26"(magnums may have longer?), heavy parkerized barrel, the VS is a more trim stock with a marbled grey and black same length barrel and blued finish. My LTR has a compact grey-black stock smaller than the VS and PSS with a 20" fluted, parkerized barrel. Many people have expressed(on internet forums) a preference for the LTR style stock if they are using the rifle in positions and applications other than static or bench rest. All the measurements for barrel length are vailable through the
Remington sporting website or the
Remington le website .
I'm delighted and dismayed that they are now offering the 300 SAUM in the LTR,that would be quite a package for a factory rifle. I highly recommend the
GA precision bolt knob. I have that on my LTR and now want one on my 6mm varmint rifle.
Good luck!
