I agree with Allan, really not surprised. I've basically given up on ever owning a real semi-auto. Now my Yugo SKS should be fine as it is fixed and has the 'compliant' brake, but does it compare to an M-14?
So what, a ban on semi-autos and the 115 F temps aren't enough to chase me out of CA, gotta keep up the fight anyway!
Let the bureaucrats busy themselves about magazine capacity and pistol grips, their misinfomation argument about protecting the innocent from ruthless firearm owners, won't hold out forever. Play by their game until they run out of cards says I.

Don't be complacent!!! It's happened here in Oz, and the bureaucrats and politicians are still holding a lot of cards...

The only useful purpose Arnold served was to rid the the state of Grey Davis. Other than that, he's useless as a Republican.

I'm seriously looking into building an AR15 and just using a fixed mag, and no muzzle brake/ flash hider. The law is hard to read but essentially you have to have three of the caracteristics to have an assault rifle.

The mini and the M1A1 are no different than any other rifle eccept mag capacity and they've had issues with that for a while. So now the Rem 760 or 740 type rifles are needing to be out lawed? This just prove thier ignorance yet again, and is nothing more than a politian looking to make a mark. Crimes rate rise every time gun use is restricted. It's proven fact. Why are so many so ignorant? Nate

They are not ignorant. They are making a policy statement totally in line with their belief system. They simply don't believe "we" should have the rights the Second Admendment gives.

That will also include the Browning BAR as the magazine can be removed.
