AggieDogNorma begins producing 240 wby mag ammunition
I just ordered 2 boxes of 240 wby mag ammunition under Norma's own brand, a 100 grain soft point, and the price is very attractive, 20 dollars per box of 20 rounds.
Gents, if you are a 240 wby shooter, this is great news. I purchased mine from Midway.
Looks like there is .270 Wby available as well (150 grs @ 20$ for 20). Sadly no .270 130 grs or .257 Wby (yet?).
It is indeed cheap - new Wby cases (made by Norma, naturally) cost almost as much.

<JOHAN>Gentlemen
Norma made a line of wby ammo with their own bullets around 1993-1995 or so.
My favorite wby cartridges ranges from 240-7 mm

AggieDogI pay 20 to 23 dollars for Norma brass, with this deal, it is very sweet. My plan is shoot these for coyotes, varmints, etc, and load the Tsx, etc in the brass.
If you are looking for a reason to own a 240 wby mag, this just made it sweet.

VarmintGuyAggieDog: Thanks a lot for the heads up on the Norma 240 Weatherby ammo. I have a Jim Cloward made custom 240 Weatherby. Its built on a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 action and has a 27" Hart stainless barrel. I love this cartridge and have taken numerous Antleope and Mule Deer as well as Coyotes, Badgers and Rock Chucks with it!
Its a great caliber and I mainly use it now for Antelope Hunting! I do need some more brass (fresh brass) and I will look into this Norma stuff!
Thanks again!
