Looking for a Lot of help on this one....

Hi, Y'all,
I am looking for a Winchester 70 FWT Classic in 6.5x55. I am looking for a wood stocked version in either blued or Stainless. I have looked over most of the big gun shops in BC, Canada, and have one on back order in Wholesale Sports in Calgary Alberta, but am looking for other options. I am looking in gunsamerica.com, but am looking for the input of gentlemen who buy more guns and have more experience than me. ANY input would be greatly appreciated.

good luck friend...those things don't sit in the used racks very long. You and every one else is also looking for them.

I gave up and built my own on a VZ-24 action.....

I was lucky enough to find one (push feed) like new last year, and no it's not for sale. You might want to have a look at the Howa, in blue or stainless. It was the route I was going to take before I foung my Winchester.

Might be worth contacting either the factory, or some dealers in the US side to find one then have your local dealer import it for you.

Countries have different gun laws and Canada is a lot different than down here.
