Mark at D&R says he should have a Tikka in soon. I guess we'll see. I'd love to find one. The Ruger would be nice too. I'm just going to keep my eyes open for now.

You may be a little hard pressed to find one. I insist on a stainless steel barrel for rifles I shoot a lot at the range, but don't find it matters a great deal in hunting rifles. The blued barrel on my Remington Classic in 6.5x55 is about 7 years old and holding up well. If I rebarrel it,
I'll go to a Hart SS barrel. I have several in various calibers and have been delighted with Hart's work. Best wishes.

I just checked the Legacy Sports site and can't find the SS version on there, it has a blued version listed though. You can buy the blued/synthetic for the same cost as the blued/JRS stocked Howa. But that doesn't help, because it's still blued.

I had good luck with getting a response from Tikka, but Beretta is another story! I even posted a question on their website on 9/30, and still no response! Unbelievable. I think (if I recall correctly) their response time is supposed to be 3 days.

I've pretty much given up on ever getting one.
