Ruger American Predators in 260 Rem!
Swung by the local GS this morning, just for fun, and they just got in a Ruger American Predator in 260 Rem. I guess this is a limited uncatalogued run. I'm not a 260 fan, but I thought those that are, might be interested. The price was just $399, and my GS would probably knock a little off that if I were interested. I loaded some 308 rounds for a co-workers American in 308, and it shot very well. The predator looks like it might have a little heavier barrel.

The RAR-Predators in 260 were a limited run bonus for stocking Ruger dealers. The more units they sold, the more of these non-cataloged rifles they could buy. The 2014 bonus rifle was a non-cataloged RAR-Predator in 25-06, the only long action RAR-Predators made to date.

If the RAR-Ps in 260 shoot as good as the other RAR-Ps, it would certainly be worth $400.

I saw a 260 Remington RAR Predator at Whittaker Guns a couple of weeks ago. It did not last long.
Neither did the .308 RAR Predator.

25-06 RAR Predator? Eeker

I bought 2 of the RAR-Predators in 260 from Whittaker's Gun Shop in Owensboro, KY, in December.

I've never seen one of the RAR-Predators in 25-06 and I missed the only one that I've ever seen advertised at Simpsons in Galesburg, IL., a couple of months ago.
