How often should I clean my .17 HMR ?

How often should I clean my .17 HMR? I shoot it alot and right now I'm cleaning it after about 150 rounds are shot through it.

I don't clean the barrel unless accuracy deteriorates.

I'm with Jpat. If it shoots jacketed bullets it gets cleaned every time it gets shot, JMO.

I had a lawn mower that had a label on it that said "change oil every 4 hours". I got tired of getting up in the middle of the night to change oil on the darned thing so I gave it to a guy I didn't like.
