Hornaday 68gr. BTHP in a 1-9 223
I have a new Rem. LTR that i'm thinking about loading some of these for. Anyone have any hands on with this bullet? I like the look of the Nosler 69gr also but the Hornaday has a better BC.

This is my first fast twist 223 would like any help in the 65gr and up bullets.

They shoot well. Almost as well as the Sierra 69gr match BTHP in some rifles, better in others.

You might try the Hornady 75gr BTHP too. Sometimes that bullet will stabilize in 1/9 barrels.

It stabilizes in my 1/9 AR15.

That bullet will work very well in the 1:9. thumb
