fireball168Share varminter loads for the 257 Roberts?
I've got a 1/10 twist, 20" #5 contour Shilen should be back from getting blued this week...
Need a good 75-90 grain varminter load...tried some 3031 loads before sending it out, and wasn't too impressed.
Anybody got a proven favorite they'd like to share?

308SakoMy very best accuracy and velocity was with IMR 4064, and the 75 gr Hornady HP. Good shooting.

BigNateWhat 308Sako said! I have used mine for coyotes and loved it! In fact I didn't miss the .22-250 when it went away. Nate

merganser1RL-15 works very well with the 75 gr. Hornady HP in my lightweight Ruger with 20 inch bbl. 39 gr. produced the best accuracy. Merg

Quarter RoundI do not shoot the .257 Roberts, but shoot the .25-06 and believe the Sierra 75gr. HP would make an excellent bullet to start with. The Speer 87gr TNT and Nosler 85gr. BT also perform well at the velocities you will get from the Bob. The Hornady 75gr. VMax has good terminal performance, but accuracy is less than the above bullet in my rifle.
