I recently bought a CZ 527 American .22 Hornet, and was wondering what other people did as far as scopes and scope mounts. I put my simmons 22 mag scope on it just to shoot until I could buy a nicer one. When you pull the bolt back there does not seem to be alot of clearance between the back of the scope and the handle of the bolt. I was considering buying a 4-12X40mm Simmons Atec. Will this fit? Any input or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I took the handle off the bolt, (about 1 minutes work) and ground some off then polished and am having it reblued, along with a new barrel I just had put on.

I used Talley rings and a Leupold 2-7X Compact and all is well.
