J_ZolaI am having one built myself. When are you going to get a chance to shoot it?

Why the 6.5 Grendel and not the 6.5 Creedmoor?

Good question. The 6.5 Grendel shooters I know are using the cartridge in semi autos. It fits within AR10 magazine boxes (maybe AR15?). If I were to use a standard action bolt gun, I would opt for something different.

richjAR is in the works. The Creedmoor is too long at 2.8+ The mag box in the mini mauser is 2 1/4+,- This was originally a 7.62x39 rifle.
Shot a few 3 shot 1 holers with Wolf Gold. Was a bit hot today. I got 4 in the magazine and it fed fine but it was tough getting them all in.

J_ZolaWell how did it shoot? Mine started life as a 7.62x39 also.

The old man and grandma are gone. Harry runs the place. There are no numbers down range to match up with the benches and there are about 6-8 backstops missing from the 100 yd range.
Good news is there are 2 "official" range offices running the line and a few new wood benches. We actually bring our own stools.
