243 AI 75 V-Max Load Data
Looking for load data for a 243 AI using 75gr V-Max. I'm using Lapua brass and 210M primers for sure and I have about 6 lbs of H414 so if you have any load data using any of the above that would be great.

It's a 1-12 Lilja 3 groove if you have any other 85gr and less pet loads using 210M's and H414 I would love to here them.

Thanks

when i was working up loads for 243ai i would use the max load from 243 win data as a start point.
get p.o. ackleys book vol 1 it has some very good info on ai calibers.

In a Non Ackley IMproved, I use a load of 47.5 grains of H 414, with a large rifle primer...

the AI may be able to give you another 1.5 to 2 grains potential...

MV out of a 22 inch barrel exceeds 3650 fps in my rifles... with the 26 inch one breaking 3700...

out of 15 powders tested with the 75 grain Hornady HP, H 414 had the biggest velocity spread of them all... it was also the most accurate at 100, 200 and 300 yds....

good luck with yours...

cheers

Here is a link that I used when I started loading mine up with 70gr Nosler BT. Using H414 as well.

I found with my gun it liked the nickel plated brass for best accuracy.

I just picked up 6 lbs of H4350 and my dad still has about 4 lbs of Varget. I thought Varget would be a little fast but I have some pretty good load data for Varget over on another site. I much prefer Hodgden's Extreme powders. I've had blazing results with Benchmark in 2 different .223's a 1-9 & 1-12.
