Do you reload? If you don't, then you might want to pass on a wssm, unless you don't mind "shelling out" $$$ for shells.

I would definitely pass on it. Even with reloading the brass is a bitch.

Maybe it's not such a great deal, i just thought $400 for a brand new A-Bolt was a good deal.

It would be in a different caliber.

People have good luck with the Browning's. Ask your question at www.wssmzone.com for answers from people that have experience with the caliber.

In my opinion: if you are not a high volume shooter and you want a long range 22 cal, buy it. FWIW, Dutch.

A while back I found a Winchester featherwight stainless in 243 wssm. Have learned to really appreciate the caliber and the little gun. Shoots half minute to minute with every bullet I have tried and several different powders. It has exceeded all expectations, then again it replaced a Ruger #1 in 22-250 that was always a problem child. As they say, go figure.

paulsbo ----- If you are not interested in the rifle I would really appreciate the name and number of the dealer who has it for sale. This is a very serious request, your help would be appreciated. Good shooting
